These carbon sorbents are effective in separating gas mixtures, air purification and flue gas emissions. The sorbents used in the pressure swing adsorption plants for the separation of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, helium and methane, nitrogen and oxygen, and also used in the purification of natural gas and air.
Additionally, sorptive materials obtained can be effective in use as the anode and cathode materials for the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells. Absorbent carbon materials manufactured in granules and powders of various fractions, are not afraid of water.
